As many of you know, I work entirely freelance. So I get to have extra fun when tax season comes trying to remember all the business expenses I have so Uncle Sam doesn't shut down my lil' operation, but to not end up paying more for something that I'm owed a deduction on.
That's where Evernote comes in! It's this awesome website I've been introduced to through "The 4 Hour Work Week." It lets you do so much for just $5/month! (And let me add that this isn't an ad.) I've just started using this website and it's going to revolutionize the way I keep track of files, paperwork, etc.
10 Great Ways to Use It:
1)It'll take images that have been uploaded and let you search through the text in it.
-Never forget that type of wine you liked, snap a shot of the label with your Android or iPhone and store it on Evernote!
2)Scan directly onto it!
-Forgo storing receipts and reports on your computer completely.
3)Save your Tweets and Status updates on Twitter & Facebook.
4)Go Paperless!
-Never have to worry about fire, flood, or robbery destroying your personal documents.
5)Organize and search all your class notes, reports, and syllabi's.
-Just take a picture, upload it, and then
6)Save links and images in your browser with the app!
7)Drag and drop things straight from your desktop!
8)Email important documents directly to Evernote!
9)Store magazine clips, pdfs, and other items for later reference!
10)Archive voicemails and dictations!
