Although this wasn't an easy decision, I've decided to shut down ICV. I have too many family responsibilities and unfortunately I'm not able to keep up with the site or give my members the attention they deserve. I'm writing tonight to tell my members that I've decided to shut down MM4M at the end of July.
I have many reasons for shutting down the site...high rates of fraud and networks getting rid of incentive sites, demands of my family, etc etc...life in general.
I'm sad and relieved all at the same time.
Now on to the details of how you will get paid. Cashouts for valid June leads will be paid by Aug 5. All cashouts for valid July leads need to be requested by August 15. They will be paid during the month of September...as I get paid from the networks, members will receive their payments.
I've put a huge amount of myself into this site trying to make it the best it could be. I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have.

I have decided, after much thought and consideration, to close Hooraymoney.com at the end of the month (July). We have had a great run with the site, and have been in business for over 1 year.
However, because of personal reasons, as well as the ever-changing gpt industry itself, and the fickleness of our advertisers, we have decided that continuing to run the site would not be worth the time or financial effort it takes to keep it running smoothly.
Over the last few months, membership use has dropped considerably due, in part, to advertisers who do not pay, and by fraudulent users who have changed the way the industry is running. We have done our best to weed out fraud, but we have paid a price for our new rules, etc., which has been low participation.
My main focus right now is my 11 month old son, and I have also decided to end the site, so that I may spend as much of my time with him as possible. I just do not have the time or energy to work on the website after a full day of baby wrangling. :-)
FINAL PAYMENTS:
We will do our absolute BEST to make sure all legitimate members receive their final payments from the site, for all legitimate leads created with our advertisers, provided they have met the criteria mandated in previous months. This includes making sure your account has your most current mailing address, your date of birth, phone number, and that you have completed the telephone verification, if your account has not already been verified.
We still hold the right to request additional verification from any member whose account is in question. Payouts for July will begin on time, in August. We will pay our members according to who is owed the highest dollar amount first, and continue down to who has the least amount pending in their account.
Payments are based, in part, on whether or not we receive payment from our advertisers. Unfortunately, we have had a problem with one of our main advertising affiliates, NexusLeads, in receiving payments for leads generated over the last 3 months. Due to this issue, and whether or not they eventually pay us, we may not be able to pay every member. We apologize for this, but we do not have the money to pay our members if our advertisers are not paying us. This is why we are paying in order of highest cashout to lowest.If/when we receive payment from them, we will absolutely pass the earnings on to our members who generated those leads.
GPTOA RAFFLE:
We are still participating in the GPTOA raffle for the month of July. We have already contributed our money for the raffle, so anyone who enters the raffle on Hooraymoney.com WILL have their entry combined with the entries from other sites, to draw a winner. Log into the GPTOA forum in August to find out who wins.
If you have questions regarding the closing of our site, please feel free to contact me via email, or the site inbox. However, please do not email me to ask when you will be paid, as this has already been covered. We will begin July payments on schedule, in August, and will pay all members, from highest dollar amount, to lowest dollar amount, until we run out of money. Why I Love Gather.Com
I wasn't too enthralled with Gather when I first joined. In the past few months though, they've changed my opinion drastically and it has quickly become one of my "daily sites" that I participate in. I originally joined when someone else mentioned the site on AssociatedContent.com as an easy place to earn cash.
I originally had trouble with it, but now I'm having no problems at all. I've already cashed out for a $20 Borders gift card, and I just put in for a $25 Omaha Steaks giftcard.

The point promotions! Plain, pure, simple. They had 2 just this past June. One was where you accumulated 10 points for every picture you uploaded. (I made 1500 points during this one month alone.) And then they had another where if you got 5 new people to join, you got a $20 Borders giftcard!
Tips n' Tricks
1)If you're already writing non-exclusive articles for sites like AssociatedContent.com, you can just take those same articles, flip them, and then re-post them on Gather's site. This means you'll reap twice the benefits off of one article.
2)Gather doesn't screen their pictures for "copyright infringement", so while I'm not condoning you posting pictures that aren't yours, and saying they are. I am saying that you can post pictures that aren't yours and cite their creator. Or you can post things like RPG Motivational Posters and not get in trouble.
